5 killed in collision between 2 buses in Pabna

Pabna Correspondent: At least five people were killed and 25 other were injured in a collision between two buses in the district on Tuesday morning.

The accident took place around 10.00am in Tinakhora area.

Pabna Police Super Zihadul Kabir confirmed the matter.

He said a Dhaka-bound bus of Shyamoli Paribahan collided head-on with a Pabna-bound bus of Saddam Paribahan, leaving the causalities.

Three of the deceased were identified as Mintu Hossain, helper of Shyamoli Paribahan bus, at Dariapur village under Shahjadpur in Sirajganj, Nripendronath Sarkar at Bagha upazila in Rajshahi and Ayen Uddin at Dariapur village under Sujanagar in Pabna.
