‘AL not in risk due to cancelling quota’

Kushtia Correspondent: Awami League (AL) joint general secretary Mahbub Ul Alam Hanif said, “The party did not fall in risk over the next general election due to cancelling quota system in government jobs.

He said, “It will not be any cause for AL to fall in risk in the 11th parliamentary election. The students who were against the quota system will give their supports to the government.”

The AL leader told this to the reporters while exchanging views with people on Pahela Baishakh at his own residence on Saturday.

About level-playing field in the election demanded by BNP, Hanif said, “All the polls were held in a free and fair manner under the current Election Commission (EC). So, nothing disorder happened to the level playing field yet.”
