Abducted madrasaboy rescued, 4 arrested

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Police rescued a madrasaboy who was abducted in Chittagong.

Ibrahim Helal, 10-grader of Sobhania Kamil Madrasa of the port city Chittagong was abducted on Thursday morning when he was going to the madrasa by CNG auto-ricksahw for attending examination.

Police rescued him from behind of Jannat Bakery of Pathaniya Godasto area under Chandgaon Police Station early Friday, 17 hours after he was abducted.

Law enforcers also arrested four people involved in abduction.

The arrestees were identified as Fahim, 21, Rabbi, 23, Imran, 20, Mofizur, 23.

Akramul Haque, additional deputy commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP), confirmed the news.
