‘Acceptable person to be made DNCC candidate’

Staff Correspondent, Savar: Most acceptable person will be nominated as the candidate for the by-polls of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said.

The AL leader came up with the comment while talking to reporters after the inauguration of a foot overbridge on the Dhaka-Aricha highway in Hemayetpur of Savar on Monday.

“There are a good number of eligible candidates supporting Awami League in the party. We will nominate the candidate acceptable to people based on the decision made by the party nomination board,” Quader said.
