Accused in 21 cases killed in Munshiganj gunfight

Munshiganj Correspondent: An accused in 21 cases was killed in a gunfight with police in Mijhikanti area of Adhara union under Sadar upazila of the district on Friday noon.
The deceased was identified as Ringku, 35.
Munshiganj Sadar police station said that a police team conducted a drive in the area this noon. Meanwhile, sensing the presence of police, cohorts of Rinku opened fire aiming police. In reply, police also opened fire which triggered the gunfight, leave Ringku dead on the spot and injured three policemen.
The injured police officer- Sub-Inspector Sanjay, 32 was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital as his condition deteriorated.
District police super Jayedul Alam confirmed the matter.
