Ashulia factory fire under control

Staff Correspondent, Savar: A fire that broke out at a ready-made garment factory at Norshinghopur area of Ashulia, the outskirts of the capital, was brought under control around 11:30pm on Saturday, after three hours of frantic efforts of eleven fire service units.
Earlier, Medlar Apparels Ltd caught fire around 8:30pm.
The fire was originated at the store room on the first floor of the eight-storey building.
