BCL leader arrested in Pabna over beating teacher

Pabna Correspondent: Police arrested, Samsuddin Junnun, 26, president of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) of Pabna government Shaheed Bulbul College unit over beating a teacher of the college.

He is son of Mohammad Ali of Shalgaria area of Pabna municipality.

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Pabna Goutam Kumar Biswas confirmed the news.

He said, “Junnun was arrested around 12:00pm on Saturday over his alleged involvement in beating professor Masudur Rahman of the college. The court sent him to jail after he was produced before it.”

Mentionable, Professor Masudur Rahman was beaten as he bared two students during malpractice in the examination on May 12.

Later on May 15, the teacher filed a case in this connection.
