Bangladeshi killed in Saudi road crash

Laxmipur Correspondent: A Bangladesh national was killed in road crash in Riyadh of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on Friday afternoon.

The deceased was known as Mobarak Ullah, 41, eldest son of late Mir Hafiz Ullah of Mohammadnagar village under Laxmipur sadar upazila.

Deceased’s younger brother Hossain Ahmed confirmed the news.

He said, “Mobarak along with his another brother Monir used to work in a biscuit factory in Dammam, the capital city of Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. A speedy vehicle ran over him on his way to the residence while he (Mobarak) was crossing road, leaving him critical injured. He was rushed to a local hospital where attending doctors declared him dead.”

As the news reached Bangladesh, family members and relatives and well-wishers started mourning his death.

They, however, demanded to bring the body home immediately.

Deceased Mobarak left behind his wife and a son.
