Barisal Metropolitan BCL leader suspended

Staff Correspondent, Barisal: The central committee of Bangladesh Chhatra League, the ruling party-backed student organisation, suspended one of its leaders of Barisal Metropolitan BCL unit for breaching party rules.
The suspended leader is - Asim Dewan, 26, general secretary of Barisal City Chhatra League.
A letter in this regard signed by BCL central committee president Saifur Rahman Sohag was issued on Monday.
Earlier on Monday night, police detained Asim Dewan from Rupganj-Murapara ferry ghat area of Narayanganj with a revolver and five rounds of bullets.
