Bomb disposal unit explodes 9 bombs found at Atia Mahal

Staff Correspondent, Sylhet: The bomb disposal unit of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) exploded nine hand made bombs which were left by the militants during the cleanup operation in a militant den Atia Mahal at Shibbari of Sylhet.

RAB-9 Commanding Officer Lt Col Ali Haider Azad told reporters at a press briefing on Thursday evening.

The debris inside the five-storey building has been removed but it will take more time to declare the building free of risk, he said.
