Bullet-hit body recovered in Monirampur

Staff Correspondent, Jessore: Police recovered a bullet-hit body of a youth from Bariali area of the district's Monirampur upazila on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Ataur Rahman, 30, son of Kashem Ali of Bagdanga village of the upazila.
Mokarram Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Monirampur Police Station, confirmed the news.
He said the body was sent to Jessore 250-bed General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Ataur was an accused of murder case happened over community feud two years ago. He used to live in Jessore town since the murder. He came to village recently, he added.
On Monday night, he visited local UP chairman Shekhor Chandra's home. On his return to home, miscreants fired him to death at Bariali area around 10:30pm on Monday. Being informed, police recovered the body on Tuesday morning, the OC said.
