Bus kills 3 motorcycle riders in Dhamrai

Staff Correspondent, Savar: Three motorcycle riders have been killed as a bus hit their motorbike at Dhamrai in Savar.

The incident took place near Joypura bus stand on Dhaka-Aricha highway around 4:00pm on Friday.

The deceased, aged 25 to 30 years, could not be identified immediately.

Sahab Uddin, station officer of Dhamrai Fire Service said a Shuvajatra Paribahan Manikganj-bound bus from Dhaka hit a Pulsar motorcycle while overtaking, leaving its three riders dead on the spot.

Deepak Shaha, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Dhamrai Police Station, confirmed the news.

Driver fled the scene, leaving the bus on the spot, he added.
