Bus-truck collision leaves 4 dead in Gaibandha

Gaibandha Correspondent: At least four people were killed and 15 others injured when a passenger bus collided with a truck in Bakchar area under Gabindaganj upazila of the district early Sunday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Akhteruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Gobindaganj highway police said Panchagargh-bound a bus collided with a sand-laden truck from opposite direction in the area around 5:30am, leaving the four people dead on the spot.

The injured were sent to Gobindaganj Upazila Health Complex and Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
