Businessman hacked dead in Pabna

Pabna Correspondent: A bakery shop owner was hacked to death by some unidentified assailants in Shibrampur area of Pabna Thursday early morning.
The deceased was identified as Faruk Karim, 4o, son of Nowab Ali of the area.
Locals said Faruk was stabbed and hacked near his home after he left for his bakery shop at around 6:30am.
He was then rushed to Pabna general hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Pabna Sadar police inspector (investigation) Mahmud Hasan said the incident might happen following a previous enmity.
Police are trying to nab the culprits, the police official said.
