Businessman hacked to death in Pabna

Pabna Correspondent: A group of miscreants hacked a fish trader to death in Tulti area of Ishwardi upazila of Pabna district on Sunday night.

The deceased was identified as Hafizur Rahman, 28, son of Abdur Razzak, hailed from Debipur village of the upazila.

Ishwardi police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Hye said that the victim was returning home from fish market around 10:00pm. Meanwhile, muggers stopped him and tried to snatch his money. At one stage, the muggers attacked him with sharp weapon, leaving him critically injured.

Later, the injured was sent to Upazila Health Complex where duty doctor declared him dead.
