Case filed over attack in Khaleda's convoy

Feni Correspondent: A case has been filed with Feni Model Thana over the attack in the convoy of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

Court Police Inspector AKM Najibul Islam filed the case on Tuesday night.

Md Rashed Khan Chowdhury, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Feni Sadar Police Station, confirmed this to media on Wednesday.

Some 24 to 25 unknown persons were made accused in the case for their alleged involvement in the attack. Legal action will be taken after investigating the incident, the OC said.

On October 28, the convoy of the BNP chief came under attack when she was heading to Cox’s Bazar from Dhaka to visit Rohingya camps there.

Around 15-20 vehicles were vandalized and 8-10 people including journalists were injured during the attack.
