Kushtia Correspondent: A child named Rafi (5) was killed as an auto-rickshaw hit him in the district’s Daulatpur on Tuesday morning.
The incident took place around 11.00am on Daulatpur-Mirpur road in Sherpur area of Piarpur union.
Rafi was the son of Ripon Mondal.
According to locals, a Daulatpur-bound auto-rickshaw hit Rafi while he was crossing the road, leaving him dead on the spot.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Daulatpur Shah Dara Khan confirmed the matter.
