Child killed in Gaibandha road mishap

Gaibandha Correspondent: A seven-year old boy was killed as a tractor ran over him at Pakarmatha area of the district's Fulchhari upazila on Friday noon.

The deceased was identified as Momin Mia, son of Mohammad Ali of the area.

Abdul Khaleque, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Fulchhari Police Station, confirmed the news.

Momin was heading to Gaibandha town by a van. A tractor crashed into the van when it reached Parkarmatha area, leaving him dead on the spot.

The body was sent to Gaibandha Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, he added.
