Child’s body recovered from Kushtia paddy field

Kushtia Correspondent: The body of a child named Sabia (6) has been recovered from a paddy field in the district’s Mirpur upazila.

Being informed, police recovered the dead body from a paddy field in Miton Khasimara area under Amla union.

The deceased Sabia was the daughter of Bhasa Ali in Miton Mathpara area.

Sub-Inspector (SI) Abdur Rahman of Amla Police Camp said that Sabia was missing from Friday evening. On Saturday morning, locals reported to the police about her body lying in a paddy field. Later, police recovered the dead body.

But the reason for the death is not yet known.  The body was send to Kushtia General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
