College student stabbed dead in Pabna

Pabna Correspondent: A student was stabbed to death by unknown miscreants on Tuesday night in the district.
The incident took place around 10.00pm.
The deceased was identified as Ahmed Mishkat Mishu, 24, son of Assistant Professor of Pabna College Golam Mostafa and a student of the Chemistry Department of Government Edward College.
Goutam Kumar Biswas, additional superintendent of Pabna police, confirmed the matter.
According to sources, a group of miscreants swooped on Mishu and stabbed him indiscriminately leaving him critically injured.
He was taken to Pabna General Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Meanwhile, police arrested a man in this connection.
