Construction worker dies falling off Tangail building

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: A laborer died after falling from an under-construction building in proposed Tangail Sheikh Hasina Medical College yesterday evening.

The deceased was identified as Ainul Islam, 20, son of Nurul Islam, hailed from Mollahpara village under Nageshwari upazila of Kurigram.

Police and local sources said that the worker fell down while working on the 6th floor of the building around 7:30am and dead on the spot.

The body was sent to Tangail general hospital morgue.
