Couple found dead in Mirzapur

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: Police has recovered the dead bodies of a couple at Mirzapur in Tangail.

On Monday evening, their bodies were recovered from the house at Chitishwari village under Ajgana union of the upazila.

The couple are driver Rashedul Islam Khan (24) and his wife Sumi Begum (19).

Police and locals said that about four months ago, Rashedul and Sumi Begum got married. There was no conflict between them. They went to sleep on Sunday night. The neighbors broke into the door without getting any response from the house till Monday afternoon and found the hanging bodies of Rashedul and Sumi in the same rope inside the house. Police arrived in the evening and recovered the dead bodies.

Sub-Inspector (SI) Mizanur Rahman of Mirzapur Police Station said that two bodies were found hanging in the same rope. The bodies have been sent to Mirzapur Kumudini Hospital morgue for autopsy.
