Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: A leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) named Md Lokman (34) has been hacked to death by miscreants at Hathazari.
The deceased Lokman was the general secretary of Fatepur Union unit of Chhatra League and a UP member.
Officer-in-Charge of Hathazari Police Station Md Belal Uddin said miscreants attacked him while he was returning from a milad mahfil on Wednesday night.
He was immediately taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where the doctors declared him dead around 2.30am on Thursday.
The miscreants stabbed him in his chest and stomach.
