Cumilla arson case: Khaleda’s bail hearing on Nov 11

Cumilla Correspondent: A Cumilla court fixed November 11 for the bail hearing of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in an arson attack case filed with Chauddagram Police Station in the district in 2015.

Cumilla District and Session Judge's Court Judge KM Shamsul Alam passed the order on Wednesday.

The court also sent BNP leader Monirul Haque Chowdhury, one of the main accused in the case, to jail.

On February 3, 2015, eight people were killed and 20 others injured after a bus was torched in Cumilla's Chouddagram upazila during an anti-government agitation.

Chouddagram Police Station’s Sub-Inspector Nuruzzaman filed a case in this connection accusing 77 people including the BNP chief.
