DCs asked to be humane to Rohingyas

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Fearing that Rohingyas fleeing Myanmar violence may spread to many districts of the Chittagong division, Chittagong Divisional Commissioner Abdul Mannan urged deputy commissioners (DCs) of those districts to be more humane to them.

An office order has been issued in this regard on Wednesday noon.

The Chittagong divisional commissioner organised a coordination meeting in this regard today where he asked the deputy commissioners of Chittagong, Bandarban, Cox’s Bazar, Rangamati, Feni and Khagrachhari districts to be more humane to the Rohingya people who have taken shelter to Bangladesh fleeing Myanmar violence.
