Draft of Teesta deal ready: Quader

Munshiganj Correspondent: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said the signing of the much-awaited Teesta water-sharing agreement will be completed during the tenure of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A draft regarding the deal on Teesta issue has been prepared which only needs approval, said Quader, also the Awami League General Secretary.

Quader made the disclosure while talking to reporters after inspecting activities of a mobile court led by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) at the Kuchiamura college gate area in Sirajdikhan upazila of Munshiganj on Monday.
