‘Drug trader’ found dead in Khulna

Staff Correspondent, Khulna: Police has recovered the bullet-hit body of a suspected drug trader from Khejurtala village under Batiaghata upazila.
The deceased was identified as Asaduzzaman Mitul, 28, son of Hasan Lalon Fakir of Labanchara Thana.
Rabiul Kabir, officer-in-charge of Batiaghata Police Station, said tipped off that two gangs of drug traders were exchanging bullets over internal feud, a team of police went to the spot and rescued Mitul with bullet injury around 2.30am.
Later, he was taken to Batiaghata Upazila Health Complex where the doctors declared him dead.
