EC writes to Khaleda for not to violate electoral code

Staff Correspondent: The Election Commission today sent a letter to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia not to violate the electoral code of conduct.

The returning officer of Dhaka North City Corporation sent the letter to BNP Chief as she was seen campaigning with motorcade and a huge number of people blocking roads.

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Returning Officer Mihir Sarwar Morshed forwarded the letter to BNP`s Nayapaltan office around 11:30am.

Khaleda Zia also has been asked to maintain the electoral code of conduct for the sake of free and fair election.
 
Media reported that BNP Chairperson conducted campaign for last few days with her motorcade creating road blockade which is strict violation of electoral code of conduct-2010.
