Eid being celebrated in several districts

Risingbd Desk: The people of Laksmipur, Khulna, Chattogram and some other districts are celebrating Eid-ul-Azha on Tuesday in line with the “schedule of Saudi Arabia”.

In Chattogram, around 50 villages of several upazila celebrated Eid on the same day as Saudi Arabia and other Muslim countries of the Middle East.

Mirzakhali, Charti, Suipura, Bazalia, Moneyabad, Purangarh, Gatiyadenga, Madarsha, Rupnagar, Alinagar and other areas of Satkania upazila celebrated Eid. Thousands of people participated in several Eid congregations in the district.

In Laxmipur, the residents of Noagaon, Joypura, Bigha, Baro Goria, Hotatia, Shorshoi and Kanchanpur in Ramganj upazila, Kolakopa village in Raipur upazila and 10 villages including Boshikpur in Sadar upazila celebrated the Eid on the same day as Saudi Arabia and other Muslim countries of the Middle East.

The Eid congregation of Naogaon village was held at Noagaon Edgah ground at 7:00 am. Maulana Monirul Islam Majumdar administrated the prayer.



In Satkhira, an Eid congregation was held at Baukhola village in Sadar upazila at 8:00 am.

Besides, other Eid congregations were held at Islamkati and Sujonshaha village in Tala upazila where more than hundreds of people participated.

Besides, the residences of Noakhali, Barisal, Khulna, Bagerhat and some other districts are celebrating Eid in accordance with Saudi Arabia.
