Eid being celebrated in several villages of Barisal

Staff Correspondent, Barisal: About 3,500 families in Barisal district are celebrating the Eid-ul-Fitr on Friday in accordance with Saudi Arabia.

Mawlana Muhammad Abdul Alim at Jahangiria Shah Sufi Mamtajia Jame Masjid of Tajkathi under ward-23 led the Eid prayer at 9:30am.

Besides, Eid ul-Fitr Jamaats were held on Friday at different places of Chowdhury Bari Shah Mamtajia Jame Masjid, Akan Bari in Sarikol village under Gaurnadi upazila, Sundarkathi, Afalkathi of Bakerganj, Olankathi village of Babuganj, Badartuni of Muladi and other villages under Barisal district.
