Eid jamaat held at Sholakia with unprecedented security

Kishoreganj Correspondent: The largest Eid-ul-Azha jamaat (congregation) of the country has been held on the historic Sholakia Eidgah Maidan peacefully with unprecedented security. It was 191th Eid jamaat at the Eidgah.

Markaj mosque Imam Mufti Hifzur Rahman conducted the Eid prayers held at 9:00am on Wednesday.



A special munajat was offered seeking divine blessings for peace and progress of Bangladesh and welfare of the people as well as the Muslim Ummah.

Besides, Doa was also offered seeking blessings to bring back fugitive killers of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.



Kishoreganj deputy commissioner (DC) Sarwar Murshed Chowdhury, Superintendent of Police (SP) Mashrukur Rahman Khaled and administrative officials of different levels, political leaders and people from all walks of life attended the Eid prayers.
