Elderly man slaughtered in Cumilla, accused lunched

Cumilla Correspondent: A young man was killed in a lynch-mob attack after he stabbed an elderly man to death in the district.
The incident took place in Balutupa area under Sadar upazila on Wednesday night.
The deceased were identified as Ali Akbar, 70, son of late Charu Mia, and Alam, 35, son of Halim Miah of the area.
According to sources, Alam stabbed and slaughtered Akbar to death following previous enmity.
Agitated, locals caught Alam and gave him a good beating, injuring him badly.
He was taken to Comilla Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
