Expatriate hacked to death in Pabna

Pabna Correspondent:  A Saudi Arabia expatriate, Bakul Sarkar, has been hacked to death by miscreants in Shalgaria Railpara area of Pabna municipality.

The assassination took place around 6:30 pm on Monday.

The deceased was the son of Akubbar Sarkar at Uttar Shalgaria Baganpara Mahalla of Pabna Sadar.

Sub-Inspector Subrata Sarkar of Pabna Sadar Police Station said that Bakul Sardar was walking on the railway line in the evening. Miscreants hacked him discriminately, leaving him dead on the spot.

Later, police recovered the dead body and sent it to Pabna General Hospital morgue for autopsy.

There is no immediate information about who killed him for what reason, police said.
