Faridpur road accident kills 2

Faridpur Correspondent: At least two people were killed and two others injured a road accident in Surjanagar area under Bhanga upazila of the district on Friday morning.

The deceased were identified as Mosharraf Hossaon, 37 and an artist named Wahid Sujat, 38.

Sources said that the microbus hit a road divider around 9:30am when its driver lost control over the steering in the area, leaving the two dead on the spot and injured two others.

Later, the injured were admitted to Bhanga Upazila Health center.

Bhanga Highway police station Officer-in-Charge Ejaj Hossain said a group of artists were coming towards Dhaka from Benapole. The victims included a co-artist of singer Nokul Kumar Biswas.
