Farmer strangulated to death in Atghoria

Pabna Correspondent: A farmer named Sadek Ali Mridha (59) was strangulated to death by miscreants in the district’s Atghoria upazila on Friday night.
Police recovered the dead body around 9.00am on Saturday.
The deceased Sadek Ali was the son of Tajul Mridha at Hidaskol village under Ekdanto union of the upazila.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Atghoria Police Station Anwarul Islam said that Sadek Mridha slept in his house on Friday night. On Saturday morning, his body was found lying in a field of his village. Police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to Pabna General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
The OC said that at night Sadek Ali was picked up by the miscreants and killing him left the body in the field.
