Father, daughter killed in Patuakhali road crash

Patuakhali Correspondent: A father and his daughter were killed in a road accident in Uttar Dharandi area of Kamalapur union under Sadar upazila of the district on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Kamal Hossain Hawladar, 30 and his three years old daughter Keyamin.

Family sources said that the victims were going to a function riding a battery-run auto rickshaw around 11:00am. Meanwhile, a speedy truck rammed the rickshaw, leaving the daughter dead on the spot and injured him critically.

Later, the injured was sent to Barisal-Sher-e-Bangla medical college Hospital but, he died on the way of hospital.

Patuakhali Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mostafijur Rahman confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
