Father, son die from being electrocuted in Gazipur

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: A man and his son died after being electrocuted at Kapasia upazila of the district on Wednesday.

Emarat Hossain, 45, and his son Selim Hossain, 22, died after coming in contact with a cable of Palli Bidyut while hanging antenna for their television at Kaldaiya village under Raed union.

According to locals, they were rescued and sent to Kapasia Upazila Health Complex. Later, they were shifted to Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital where duty doctors declared them dead.
