Father, son electrocuted in Tangail

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: A man and his son have been electrocuted in the district’s Kalihati upazila.
The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon at Deupur village under Salla union of the upazila.
The deceased were identified as Abdul Karim (48) and his son Abu Dawat (22).
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kalihati Thana Mir Mosharraf Hossain said that Abdul Karim and his son Abu Dawat were repairing the electric line of their poultry farm and at that time they were electrocuted. Later the locals rescued them and took them to Tangail General Hospital but the duty doctors declared them dead.
