Father-son killed in electric motor explosion

Kushtia Correspondent: A father and his son were killed in an electric motor explosion in district`s Daulatpur on Saturday midnight.

The deceased were identified as Niamot Ali (60) at Moshaura Trimohoni village under Mathurapur union, and his son Sohag (12), a student of class 4.

According to sources, the father and his son were burnt after the explosion around 12.00am as they were sleeping near the motor.  

Daulatpur Thana OC Aminul Islam said the motor exploded as it`s parts were very old, it was set up 20 years ago.
