Female journalist hacked to death in Pabna

Pabna Correspondent: A group of mistreatments hacked a female journalist to death Radhanagar in Pabna. The incident took place around 10:30pm yesterday.

The deceased was identified as Suborna Akhter Nodi, 32, the Pabna district correspondent of private channel Ananda TV.

Goutam Kumar Biswas, additional superintendent of Pabna police, said responding to knocks, Nodi opened the door and came under the attack around 10pm. The assailants hacked her indiscriminately with sharp weapon, leaving her critically injured.

Later, she was rushed to Pabna General Hospital where the duty doctor declared her dead.

On information, police visited the spot. However, the motive behind the murder could not be known.
