Fire at Khulna F R Jute Mills

Staff Correspondent, Khulna: A fire has broken out at F R Jute Mills Ltd at by-pass road area adjacent to BKSP under the city’s Khan Jahan Ali police station.

The fire erupted at stock godown no. 2 of the jute mills around 3:00pm on Tuesday, spreading at two other godowns.

No casualties were reported in the incident. Seven units of Fire Service were trying to douse the fire.

However, reason of engulfing fire and damages could not be known immediately.

Iqbal Bahar Bulbul, deputy assistant director of Khulna Fire Service and Civil Defence confirmed the news.
