Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: A dreadful fire broke out at an oil depot in Fouzdarhat Abdullahor Ghata area in Sitakundu upazila on Wednesday noon.
Jashim Uddin, Chattogram divisional deputy assistant of Fire Service and Civil Defense, said that the fire broke out around 2.30 pm and engulfed two adjoining vehicle showrooms also.
On information, six vehicles of three fire-fighting units and a vehicle of Navy are working to bring the fire under control.
The reason behind the origin of the fire and causality could not be ascertained immediately.
