Five die from electrocution at Narsingdi fueling station

Narsingdi Correspondent: At least five people have died and another hurt from electrocution at a fueling station of the district's Roypura upazila.

The incident took place at Lal Mia fueling station of Narayanpur around 4:45pm on Wednesday.

Delowar Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Roypura Police Station, confirmed the news.

He said several workers went there to demolish a garage. Workers electrocuted as they climbed up with a ladder, leaving five dead on the spot.

The casualties could not be identified immediately. Police were sent to the spot to recover the deceased, he added.
