Five of a fraud gang held in Sylhet

Staff Correspondent, Sylhet: Police busted a fraud gang and arrested five of its members from main gate of police lines in Sylhet.
The detainees are- Omar Faruk, 36, son of late Yusuf Ali, Shamim Mia, 30, son of Jalal Uddin, Ismail alias Abkbar, 29, son of late Abdul Kalam, Ahad, 32, son of late Toimus Ali, Sultan, 30, son of late Abdur Rashid.
Sources said the fraud gang members usually targeted village people and took valuables from them trapping them in many ways.
Sylhet metropolitan police additional deputy commissioner (media) Md Jedan Al Musa said that legal action will be taken against the detainees.
