Man commits suicide after killing wife, two baby girls

Cox's Bazar Correspondent: A couple along with their two baby girls was found dead at Shiailla hill track area of Buddhist temple area of the district town on Wednesday evening.

The deceased were identified as Sumon Chowdhury, 33, his wife Baby Chowdhury, 28, their daughters Arpita Chowdhury, 5, and Jyotika Chowdhury, 3.

Ranjit Kumar Barua, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Cox's Bazar Sadar Police Station, confirmed the news.

OC said, being informed by locals, police rushed to the spot. Later, they recovered the bodies breaking the gate of a house. Of the deceased, Baby and her two daughters were found on the bed while Sumon was found hanging on the second floor.

Sumon might have committed suicide after he had killed his wife and two baby girls, police primarily guessed.
