Four pirates held with arms in Satkhira

Satkhira Correspondent: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have held four pirates of Shafiqul group along with three arms and six rounds of bullets from a canal of Kolagachhia area of the district.

RAB-6 held them on Thursday morning.

The detainees were identified as Milon Gain, 35, Bachchu Gain, 25, sons of Fazlu Gain of Datinkhali village of Shyamnagar upazila,  Asadul Islam, 29, son of Anwar Gazi, and Al-Amin Morol, 45, son of late Latif Morol of the same village.

Confirming the news, Lt. Col. Zahid of RAB-6, said they were held conducting a drive based on secret information. They were active members of pirate Shafiqul group.

RAB filed a case with Shyamnagar police station after handing them over to the police station, said Syed Abdul Mannan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the police station.
