Gazipur Road crash kills 2

Staff Correspondent: At least two people were killed including an Ansar man in a road accident in Baroipara area under Kaliakoir Upazila of Gazipur on Sunday morning.

One of the deceased was identified as Jahangir Hossain, 40 and another one remained unidentified instantly.

Locals said that a speedy pickup truck rammed two people in the area around 6:30am, leaving one dead on the spot and injured another one.

Meanwhile, Ansar man Jahangir Hossain rushed to the spot and tried to rescue the injured man. But, another pickup truck ran over the Ansar man, leaving him dead on the spot.  

Konabari Highway police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Hossain Sarkar confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
