Gazipur ceramics factory fire under control

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: The fire that broke out at the godown of Hua Thai Ceramics Industry in Hotapara area of Gazipur early Friday was brought under control after four hours of frantic efforts.

Md Aktaruzzaman Liton, deputy assistant director of Gazipur Fire Service, said on information, four firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control after a frantic effort.

Goods at the godown have been burnt. The fire might have been caused by an electrical short circuit, he said.

The fire originated at Hua Thai Ceramics Industry at around 12:00am on Friday.
