Staff Correspondent, Jessore: A man was killed in a gunfight between two groups in Raghurampur village under sadar upazila of the district on Sunday morning.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Sub-inspector Khabir Uddin, Duty officer of Kotwali model police station said that on information about a gunfight between two groups, a team of police conducted a drive in the village and recovered the body this morning.
Local made one shooter gun, one round of bullet, five lethal weapons were seized from the spot.
The body was sent to Jessore Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, police said.
