Journalist Subarna murder: Accused Milon arrested

Pabna Correspondent: Police arrested an accused in a case for killing journalist Subarna Akther Nodi in Pabna. The law enforcers arrested him early Sunday.  

The detainee is identified as Shamsuzzaman Milon, son of late Abdur Rahim, hailed from Gopalpur area of the district town.

Company commander of Rab-12 camp in Pabna Lt Ruhul Amin confirmed the matter.

Details will be disclosed later through press conference, the RAB official said.



Earlier on August 28, Criminals hacked Nodi, 30, the Pabna correspondent of Ananda TV, to death when she was entering her home in Pabna town, and she died at Pabna Medical College Hospital the same night.

Later, the victim's mother Marjina Begum filed a murder case mentioning three names.
